Present: Cllrs J Rutland (Chairman), M Fryer, M Patterson.

In attendance: J McGeeney, Town Clerk. Cllrs Emmerson and Irwin (ex officio).

1. Housekeeping: The Chairman advised those present of the emergency escape procedures. It was requested that mobile phones be switched to silent. If a call was received and had to be taken Members were politely requested to leave the room.

4. Bopping Bingo 11th December 2021 – It had been decided that due to current Covid restrictions the Bopping Bingo event would be postponed. A new date of Saturday 12th March 2022 was identified. Props and prizes for the event had previously been purchased/donated. Cllr Patterson would arrange for an amended poster and tickets to be made. The chairman encouraged members to advertise the event where they could. Updates would be submitted to a future meeting.


5. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations – The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee would take place in June 2022. It was felt that the Town Council should commemorate the event and ideas of possible activities were identified as follows:
   
   
   • Town Treasure Hunt/Trail
   • Best in Show
   • Craft Activities
   • Tree Planting
   
   The Town Clerk would enquire as to events other community groups were organising to avoid a clash of activities. Further information on events would be presented to a future meeting.
